Interstate Vehicle Recovery Begins with a Theft Report
According to investigators, the owner discovered the BMW missing from Bloomfield Avenue in Newark and immediately reported the theft to the Newark Police Department. The owner advised officers that the keys had been left inside the vehicle at the time of the theft. Officers quickly initiated a stolen vehicle investigation and coordinated with law enforcement partners.

Ultimately, investigators located the stolen BMW parked and unoccupied in New York City. Subsequently, authorities worked alongside the New York City Police Department Queens Auto Larceny Unit to recover the vehicle without damage.
